Hello, I’m Kara! Since childhood, I’ve been drawn to nature, especially the beauty and wonder of birds. Over time, that curiosity grew into a love of exploring new landscapes, from lively towns to the quiet expanses of our national parks. Each place I’ve visited has strengthened my appreciation for the natural world and deepened my sense of connection to it.

But it was back in Delaware, where I returned to my roots, that I truly found my passion – gardening. Buying my first home here opened the door to a whole new world of nurturing plants and fostering biodiversity. It’s been a journey of learning and growth, filled with joy and discovery.

Now, I’m on a mission to share my passion with everyone I meet. I believe that gardens should bring joy to people and wildlife. I’m committed to teaching others while also ensuring we do so in a way that is sustainable and beneficial to the environment.
